May 1st County Council results were a victory for the Liberal Democrats.
Andrew Mier has been returned unopposed to Fairlight Parish Council, of which he was previously chair. Councillor Andrew Mier is currently Chair for Rother District Council and has been heavily involved with the cliff defence works at Fairlight.
This election for the Rother District Council could influence the finely balanced power on the council. We need help canvassing
The Hastings and Rye Liberal Democrats issue a statement on the current situation in Gaza and urge our local MP Helena Dollimore to acknowledge this statement of local feeling and confirm her personal position.
Lest we forget - not only the bravery of those who fought but also the horror visited on the world by dictatorship and popularism.
The plans to create 65 dwelling on the Sandrock Bends site should be resisted. Local voices need to be heard.
